Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 October 2026

Lylaa is a personal assistant that helps you keep track of your transactions. With your permission, Lylaa reads the receipts and transaction notifications in your email inbox and turns them into simple notifications for you.

Lylaa is operated by Skrumble Technologies, a proprietorship concern owned and operated by Rahul Shandilya (Udyam Registration Number UDYAM-DL-03-0085948). In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Skrumble Technologies.

This policy explains what information Lylaa handles, why we handle it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@lylaa.si.

Information we handle

We keep the amount of information we handle to the minimum needed to run the service.

  • Account information. The email address of the Google Account you connect to Lylaa, plus basic profile details such as your name, so we know who you are and where to send notifications.
  • Gmail data you authorise. With your explicit permission, Lylaa reads messages in your Gmail account to find transaction and receipt emails. This access is read-only: Lylaa cannot send, delete, or change your emails.
  • Notification details. The information we extract from a transaction email — for example the amount, merchant, and date — and the notifications we send you about it.
  • Preferences. Settings you choose, such as how you would like to be notified.
  • Technical data. Limited technical information, such as error logs, needed to keep the service working and secure.

Only messages that appear to relate to transactions are used. The rest of your mailbox is ignored.

How we use information

We use the information above only to:

  • find transaction and receipt emails in your inbox;
  • extract the details needed for a notification, such as the amount, merchant, and date;
  • send you notifications about those transactions; and
  • keep your account secure and keep the service reliable.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Google user data

Lylaa's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In practical terms:

  • What we access. With your consent we request read-only access to Gmail, so that we can find and read your transaction emails. We do not request access to any other Google service unless you ask us to.
  • How we use it. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the features you can see in Lylaa — identifying your transactions and notifying you about them. It is not used for advertising, and it is not used to train or improve generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
  • Sharing. We do not sell Google user data. We do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the service (for example, to the infrastructure providers that host Lylaa for us), to comply with the law, or with your explicit consent. Anyone who processes it on our behalf is bound to protect it and may not use it for their own purposes.
  • Human access. We do not allow humans to read your Gmail data unless you ask us to for support, it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, it is required by law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations.
  • Retention. We keep Gmail-derived data only for as long as it is needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see Your choices below).

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

  • with service providers who host and operate Lylaa for us, under contracts that limit their use of it to that purpose;
  • when we are required to by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service; or
  • with your consent.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Transaction data and notifications are kept so that you can review your history, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. When you disconnect your Google Account we stop reading your Gmail and delete the data we derived from it, except where we are required to keep it by law or for legitimate security or record-keeping purposes.

Security

We protect your information with technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, restricted access, and least-privilege permissions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to fix problems promptly.

Your choices

  • Revoke access. You can remove Lylaa's access to your Google Account at any time on the apps and services connected to your Google Account page.
  • Delete your data. You can ask us to delete your Lylaa data, including data derived from Gmail, by emailing hello@lylaa.si. We act on verified requests within 30 days.
  • Access and correction. You can ask what information we hold about you and ask us to correct it.

Children

Lylaa is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and if the changes are significant we will let you know. Continuing to use Lylaa after an update means you accept the revised policy.
